I have a hard time writing about Jesus
Sometimes I feel ridiculous
He’s probably the most studied man in the history of the world
What could I possibly write about Him?
But then, I feel it – His love
It flows down my face and drips onto the page
Every time I think about what I mean to Him
And I’m confused as to why
I still don’t fully understand His sacrifice
But I’ve accepted it long ago
The gift of life, brought by His miraculous birth,
Paid for by His unprecedented death and
sealed by His victory when He rose from the grave
And I continue to search the endless depths of His reasons
I continue to write, hard as it is
To show my love and worship Him
The best way I know how
